District League U13 Boys Football: Wollaston School vs Wrenn School

What a game! The U13 boys’ district league clash between Wollaston School and Wrenn School was packed with goals, drama, and determination. Wollaston went into half-time trailing 2–0 after two clinical finishes from Wrenn. But the second half told a different story.

Wollaston came out fighting, showing fantastic teamwork and skill across the pitch. Charlie was the standout performer, controlling the game from midfield and scoring an outrageous solo goal, beating four players and the keeper before calmly slotting into the bottom corner. Darwin added to the spectacle with a moment of brilliance, chipping the keeper with composure and flair.

The team rallied together, turning the tide to secure a 4–2 victory at the final whistle.

Man of the Match deservedly goes to Charlie for his commanding display and wonder goal. Special mention also goes to Reece for his superb defensive work on the right, and to George and Joey for holding strong at the back. Our super subs—Tommy, Josh, and Ty made a huge impact with fresh energy that helped seal the win.

A fantastic comeback and a true team effort well done, Wollaston!
