Girls U13’s Northampton Town football Tournament
The Years 7 and 8 girls attended Goals in Northampton on Wednesday to compete in a county football tournament. The girls showed amazing enthusiasm, putting their practice into play. Winning two games, drawing one and losing two. They were able to make it to the quarter finals and were knocked out against the winner of the tournament from Sponne in a 1-0 loss. The girls performed well and gelled together nicely as a team. There will be another tournament later in the year at the Sixfields Stadium, training remains on a Thursday after school however it will now take place inside the sports hall as futsal.
