Dear Parents and Carers,

It has been a busy and exciting week at school as we move into the final half term of the year. We have said a fond farewell (for now) to our Year 11 and Year 13 students as they begin their official study leave. Their focus, maturity and determination have been evident, and we wish them the very best as they complete their exams over the coming weeks.

A gentle reminder to all parents and carers about parking considerately near the school site. Unfortunately, with our FA build in full swing we have had to close our sixth form car park. If families could remind any sixth form students to park considerately this would be a great help. We continue to receive concerns from our neighbours, and we ask for your continued support in ensuring drop-off and pick-up times do not cause disruption to local residents.

Our FA Build project is progressing really well – we’re beginning to see exciting developments that will significantly enhance our facilities. We hope the facilities will be completed by the end of the autumn term.

Rehearsals for The Addams Family are in full swing, and the school is buzzing with excitement! Students and staff have been working incredibly hard to bring the production to life – it promises to be a show not to miss. We also want to wish our dancer good luck as they make their way to Wembley tomorrow to perform as part of the Rugby League Challenge Cup Final.

Looking ahead to next week, our Year 10 geographers will be out on fieldwork, gaining valuable hands-on experience, and our Duke of Edinburgh programme is now in full swing, with pupils embracing the challenge and adventure it brings.

As always, thank you for your ongoing support.
