Results
The Year 9 football team were in action this Wednesday and were superb in their participation and play. It was a genuinely enjoyable afternoon of football. Not necessarily because of the results, but the way in which the players in Year 9 rallied together and played for each other was so pleasing.
The boys played against Rushden School and fought a well-earned draw in the first game. They then played a much stronger Wrenn school and were narrowly beaten 1-0. This was a fair result but does not really tell the story of the match in terms of the effort and also enjoyment of the boys playing hard and well for each other.
We are very much looking forwards to the final round of district league fixtures that will be played next Wednesday 22nd October.
