Year 7 Football

On Thursday, our Year 7 football team represented Wollaston School in the County Cup against a strong NSB side. From the first whistle, Wollaston showed determination and teamwork, battling hard in every area of the pitch.

Despite facing a well-organised and talented opposition, our players never gave up and continued to press forward, creating several promising chances. The team displayed excellent resilience and commitment throughout the match, demonstrating the spirit and pride of Wollaston School.

Unfortunately, the result didn’t go our way, and we suffered a narrow defeat. However, the performance was full of positives, and the effort from every player was outstanding. This experience will only make the team stronger as they continue to develop and grow together.

A huge thank you to all the players for their hard work and to the supporters who came along to cheer the team on. We look forward to seeing the squad bounce back in their next fixture!

U16 National Vase – Netball

What an absolute nail-biter against Cardinal Newman School in the U16 National Vase competition 21-20! The girls showed incredible determination and energy from start to finish. They were 2 goals down in the last minute and they fought hard and brought it back, with Taya getting scoring the last goal with 10 seconds remaining. Wollaston PE team are so proud of their performance and teamwork throughout.

Next round, here we come!
